Civil Services Exam 2014 Final Results Declared

UPSC on 4th July 2015 declared the final results of Civil Services Exam 2014. A total of 1236 candidates qualified the exam and were recommended for various posts.

The category-wise break-up is as follows:

As per the release, appointment to various Services will be made according to the number of vacancies available. The number of vacancies reported by the Govt. to be filled are as under:

As can be seen, the highest vacancies are in the IAS, followed by IPS.

Ira Singhal, a differently abled woman candidate, was the 2014 IAS topper. It is for the first time that a differently abled girl (PH candidate) topped the IAS exam. In fact, the top 4 positions are secured by women candidates. The top ten candidates in descending order of their rank are:
