UPSC on 10th May declared the final result of Civil Services Examination 2015.
A total number of 1078 candidates have been recommended for appointment as per following break-up:
(incl. 14 PH-1,
05 PH-2 &13 PH-3 )
incl. 06 PH-1,
01 PH-2 &
(incl. 01 PH-2 )
(incl. 20 PH-1,
07 PH-2 &
In accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Civil Services 2015, the Commission is maintaining a consolidated Reserve List of 172 candidates as under:
Appointment to the various Services will be made according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the Rules for the Examination. The number of vacancies reported by the Government to be filled are as under:

Repeating the 2014 performance, a woman candidate has once again topped the Civil Services Exam.
Twenty-two year old Ms Tina Dabi from Delhi has topped the 2015 IAS exam in her very first attempt. Her optional subject was Political Science.
Mr Athar Shafi Khan from J&K was second in the list.
